Who You Are

• 4 years of automotive experience preferably in Motorsports
• Technical knowledge of race cars Porsche exposure a plus
• A leader that possesses outstanding technical knowledge racing experience and excellent people skills
• Ability to clearly communicate with mechanics engineers management and other supporting departments
• Strong organizational skills attention to detail a high sense of urgency and ability to follow and execute on policies and procedures
• Enjoys working in a team environment with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving goals
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess and maintain a valid drivers license
• Able to perform all physical requirements of position
• Ability to provide own tools as necessary
• Endurance racing experience; preferred

What Youll Do

• Work closely with car chief in the shop and while out on the road at race events
• Complete race car preparation maintenance and repairs
• Evaluate assigned race cars before during and after events and recommend adjustments maintenance or repairs to the Crew Chief and/or Team Manager
• Order parts and supplies as needed to maintain appropriate inventory levels or to address maintenance and repair needs of individual vehicles
• Perform trackside preparation maintenance and/or repairs of race cars
• Perform car setups based upon the recommendations and/or requirements of the engineers and drivers
• Assist with set up and tear down at race events
• Professionally represent the team and sponsors on and off track
• Provide a superior client experience to partners and guests by answering questions during shop garage and pit tours
• Follow Company policies & procedures in making all necessary repairs
• Provide support for other team members as needed
• All other duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean safe working environment
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including days evenings nights and weekends
• May be required to work long hours
• Travel required for race events approximately 40%
