Apex Companies is currently seeking an Industrial Hygienist Scientist II to join our team out of our Iselin NJ office. This is a field-heavy role that includes a blend of traditional industrial hygiene and building sciences work with responsibilities spanning exposure monitoring environmental sampling and indoor environmental quality assessments across a variety of project sites.

Your Responsibilities as an Industrial Hygienist:

• Conduct personal exposure monitoring and noise dosimetry
• Assistwith development of personal exposure sampling plans
• Collectnoisewaterairand/orbuildingmaterialsamples.
• Gatheranalyzeandinterpretdata
• Prepare drafttechnicalreports
• IndustrialHygieneAssessmentsofChemicalandNoiseExposures
• IndoorEnvironmentalQuality
• AirMonitoring
• BuildingMaterialsSampling
• WaterIntrusionandMoldAssessments
• Moisturemapping
• Visiblesuspectbiologicalgrowthassessments
• Moldsamplingandclearanceprotocols
• AsbestosAbatement
• Asbestossampling
• Asbestosabatementprojectoversight
• Lead-BasedPaintInspections
• Leadsampling
• Clearance testing
• Assistwithprojectoversight.
• Mentorandtrainprojectstaff.
• Ensuresafeworkpracticesonallprojectwork.
• Activelydevelopyourowncareergrowth.

What were looking for:

• BA/BS in Industrial Hygiene Environmental Science/Engineering or other related field;
• At least 2 years of proven technical experience.
• Experience working with industrial hygiene (personal exposure monitoring/noise dosimetry asbestos mold and lead sampling.
• Asbestos lead and/or mold inspector certifications preferred.
• Additional EHS certifications/licensures or interest in pursuing additional qualifications highly desired.
