Job Summary
In collaboration with the Nursing Directors and Senior Nurse Director the Assistant Nurse Director plans organizes implements and oversees clinical and program development within Procedural Services (inclusive of but not limited to Endoscopy Radiology Infusion Pain Management Cardiac Rehab and Float Pool) to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of BWFH as well as the regulatory requirements of the TJC and other applicable federal state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Responsibilities include oversight of professional nursing practice planning management and operation of procedural service areas to ensure quality patient care for patients in the following age groups: adolescents adults and geriatrics. The Assistant Director will also assure the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice.Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
- Masters Degree in Nursing or relative field or enrollment in program preferred
- MA Registered Nurse required
- Basic Life Support BLS Certificate required
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership development management experience preferred
- Procedural or perioperative experience required
- Dynamic fast paced work environment
- Physical Requirements; 10-20 lbs lifting up to 50 lbs pushing/pulling
- Activities range from sitting in meetings computer work to actively working with staff in clinical setting.
