Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sheetfed Operator to join our production team. The Sheetfed Operator is responsible for setting up operating and maintaining sheetfed printing press equipment to ensure high-quality printed materials while meeting production deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or printing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate sheetfed printing press equipment
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment
- Ensure accurate color matching and print alignment
- Follow production schedules and meet deadlines
- Inspect materials for defects and maintain quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete production reports and documentation
- Work with production and quality teams to ensure efficient operations
- Follow all company safety and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Previous sheetfed press operator experience preferred
- Printing or packaging industry experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Ability to read work orders and production instructions
- Good attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 4050 lbs
- Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
Preferred Experience
- Heidelberg or similar sheetfed press experience
- Manufacturing or packaging environment experience
- Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience
