The Role
AstheSeniorStaffProduct Managerfor AV capabilitiesyouwillbe the product leaderresponsiblefor shaping and executing the strategy roadmap and success metrics forspecificautonomy capabilitiesand the underlying autonomy platformthat will be deployed inGMs next generationAV products.Inthis role you willworkclosely withEmbodied AISystems EngineeringConsumerand platform partners to translate GMs product strategy into high-impact capability outcomes ensuring delivery at scale quality and paceneed to meet the product milestones.Success requires strong technical judgment principled decision-making and the ability to build alignment across engineering infrastructure andother cross functionalteams. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity making tough tradeoffs and translating business needs into engineering priorities.
WhatYoullDo
Own the product vision and roadmap forspecificAVCapabilitiesand the underlying autonomyplatformfor GMsnext generationautonomy productsbalancing engineering constraints business needs andinternal platform dependencies.
Communicate roadmaps priorities experiments and decisions clearly across a wide spectrum of audiences from internal customers to executives.
Synthesize technical and analytical insights into PRDs and requirements that provideengineers andpartners with a clear understanding of what to do and why.
Lead executives and key partners through sophisticated decisions to drive progress toward our strategic goals.
Partner closely with Engineering Program management Data Science Commercial operations Systems Engineering and Consumer Product to define goals and the roadmap needed to reach them.
Identifyand lead improvements to the teams innovation andapproachenabling us to scale our team andimpact.
Exemplify outstanding product development and management practices in everything you touch.
Define track and analyze key product metrics and performance data to measure success andidentifyimprovement areas.
Stay updated onnew technologyand competitive products to drive continuous improvementanticipatethreats andidentifyrisks
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
8 years of product management or related industry experience.
Bachelors degree in Engineeringor related fields
Proven experience withtechnicalproduct management and leading the entire product lifecycle from concept to introduction.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.
Excellent presentation abilities to drive a concrete vision and rally the team.
Technicalproficiencyinproblem-solving with complex software solutions
Experience defining vision and strategy forrobotics or autonomysoftwareproducts
Exceptionalcommunication and leadership skills withthe ability to drive stakeholder buy-in.
Proven oral and written communication skills; ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technicalpartners
Comfortable with complex and ambiguous problems and situations and adept atidentifyinga projectsrisks
Enthusiastic and resilient in a constantly evolving environment where creative solutions are the norm.

Hybrid/Remote: This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-
mile radius of Austin Detroit Warren Pontiacor Milford you are expected to report to that locationthree times a week at minimum.
Compensation:The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area.
The salary range for this role is $178800 to $322500. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance job level and individual performance.
