Overview
The position located in Tucson Arizona is responsible for student recruitment and admissions for the Universitys Tucson Program. The Admissions Counselor will report to the Assistant Dean of Admissions and will work with other team members to meet yearly recruitment goals and find new recruitment sources.
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $41000- $45000.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Director of Admissions and Student Success and Admissions Team in a variety of recruitment related activities including college fairs high school visits financial aid presentations recruitment event support prospect tracking prospect relations and follow-up.
- Monitors the application system assisting prospective students complete the application process and collect necessary supporting documents.
- Provides support to Tucson Program staff including: providing customer service; answering screening and directing phone calls; reviewing and responding to emails; maintaining calendar; preparing drafting and proofing reports letters forms and spreadsheets; coordinating travel arrangements; coordinating meetings and taking minutes; and assisting with any events as needed.
- Maintains admission and student confidential records files maintains spreadsheets and ensures data is up-to-date for Admissions reporting and tracking in TargetX CRM system.
- Gives presentations in assigned schools community groups and individual students and families.
- Be a University representative to officials dignitaries community members visiting campus.
- Represents Metropolitan School of Professional Studies with an engaging helpful team-oriented demeanor consistent with the Universitys mission and Roman Catholic character.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and sales/customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties above is required.
- Understanding of recruitment financial aid and student experience/ assessments/ retention tools and techniques. Experience in a higher education work environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Tucson community. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
