A well-established national law firm is looking to add an Employee Benefits Associate in Cleveland or Cincinnati.
This is a strong opportunity for an attorney with ERISA and employee benefits experience who enjoys working on a mix of advisory and transactional support including M&A-related matters.
What Youll Be Doing
- Advising on ERISA and employee benefits matters
- Designing and drafting:
- Defined contribution and defined benefit plans
- Employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs)
- Welfare benefit plans
- Supporting executive compensation programs
- Providing employee benefits support on M&A transactions
What Theyre Looking For
- 3 years of ERISA / employee benefits experience
- Broad understanding of ERISA tax and related laws
- Strong research writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
