What Youll Do:
As a Café Cook in our senior living community youll be at the heart of our café experience. From preparing food and drinks to providing exceptional friendly service youll help create meaningful moments and lasting connections with our wonderful residents. If you have experience as a cook and prep cook this could be a great fit for you. When the café is closed youll continue making a difference by cooking for residents in our main dining room.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals for residents and staff.
- Prep food to create various salads sandwiches pizza etc.
- Take orders as needed and prepare orders to go.
- Collaborate with our team to create healthy and flavorful dishes.
- Cater to special dietary requirements and restrictions.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Experience in a professional kitchen as a cook line cook or prep cook in the food service industry.
- Ability to self-manage in a cafe style setting.
- Culinary Education preferred.
- ServSafe Certification preferred.
- Ability to participate in frequent stooping and bending lifting up to 35 pounds.
