Nursing Supervisor, Night Shift – MedicalSurgical Unit

Leading Westchester hospital seek a Nursing Supervisor to provide leadership and support to the nursing staff during the night shift to ensure safe high-quality patient care. Working collaboratively with leadership the Supervisor provides clinical guidance promotes effective communication and helps the unit achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe evidence-based patient care in alignment with hospital policies regulatory standards and best nursing practices.
• Provide clinical leadership and support including serving as a resource mentoring staff and participating directly in patient care as needed.
• Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives using measurable goals and outcomes to improve clinical practice and unit operations.
• Promote effective interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians staff patients families and other departments to optimize care delivery.
• Maintain a safe care environment ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Model professionalism and accountability supporting organizational initiatives resolving conflicts and fostering a culture of excellent patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• A minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
• Charge experience preferred

Schedule

• 4 days per week 9P - 7A

Salary Range

• $117695 $152756
