Staff Civil Engineer

DuBois & King Inc is seeking a Civil Staff Engineer with approximately 0-5 years of experience. This is a full-time engineering position with full benefits in our busy and growing Rutland Vermont office with an ideal start date of May or early June. This position would support our Public Works division with projects in water resources water- and storm-water engineer civil engineering public infrastructure and more.

Responsibilities

• Learning key engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS programs/conventions.
• Assist in the development and preparation of plans specifications and estimates.
• Conduct site reviews as needed for feasibility studies planning and design projects.
• Provide conceptual preliminary and final design civil engineering support for all divisions. These tasks are likely to include: investigation research calculations evaluation of alternatives and design development on a variety of projects.

• 0-5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred

Compensation Range:

The salary range for this position is $60000 - $75000 plus employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individuals skills experience qualifications location and applicable employment laws.
