Rental Consultant Edmonton
Job Summary
PRINCIPAL FOCUS:
Under the direction of Rentals management the Rentals Consultantis responsible forproviding professional knowledgeable advice andassistanceto customers toensure theyrent therequired equipment to meet their needs providingserviceon timewith agreatcustomer experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provision ofbest-in-classservice to customers
- Assess and analyze customer requests in person viaemailsorthroughphone callsandwhen prepping equipment to ensure that the best solution is provided for the customers needs.
- Stay currenton rental products through training research and industry engagement.
- Assistwith coverage of Photo and Video Sales Customer service as needed
- Maintain awell-organizedenvironment securing rental equipment and providingcustomerswithaprofessional rentalsexperience.
- Work on other various projects andtasksassignedby management.
When Preparing Equipment:
- Prep equipment ordersaccuratelyand on time
- Ensure all rental orders arecompleteandequipment istested and in excellent workingcondition.
- Accurately update and maintenance rental systems and software
When Providing Front Counter Service:
- Createcompleterentalsolutionsthrough:
- Offering attachments and otherequipment suggestions to meet customer needs whenappropriate
- Follow up on quotes
- Follow up calls topreviouscustomersto ensure all rental needs are being met andcreate value added exceptional service
When Providing Client Communications Service:
- Ensureour customers feel cared forinan efficient andtimelybasis through:
- Timely response toonlinequeriesphonecallsand emails
- Timely resolution to customer requests and needsproviding recommendations and alternative equipment solutions
- Efficient completion and processing of orders
- Investigation and resolution on outstanding orders.
COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with all types of people in a positive manner
- Excellent communications skills both in terms of clear conversational skills and listening/hearing thecustomer andproviding clear information back to the customer.
- Excellent command of the English English/French would be an asset.
- Detailed andaccurate.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Presents a professional image to match the Vistek brand.
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate of a recognized college or university photographic or video program or relevant experience
- Minimum of one year working in an industry environment
- Competent in Microsoft suite
- Comfortable using computerized inventory or other ERP system
- Previousretail experienceis considereda definite asset.
- Working on weekendsisrequired.
