Job Duties
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant who is committed to providing highquality compassionate care to residents in a longterm care/skilled nursing environment. This role provides direct hands-on care and support to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility within the Veterans Care Center. This role assists residents with activities of daily living promotes comfort and safety and supports the nursing team by observing and reporting changes in residents conditions. Shift Schedule 3:00pm-11:00pm- 5 days a week and every other weekend.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting residents with daily personal care such as bathing grooming dressing toileting and feeding.
Taking and accurately recording vital signs including temperature blood pressure pulse and respiration.
Observing residents and promptly reporting any changes in condition to the nurse.
Assisting with mobility repositioning and transferring residents using proper body mechanics and approved techniques.
Helping maintain a clean safe and orderly environment.
Following individualized care plans and documenting care activities clearly accurately and in a timely manner.
AMAZING SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PAY
2nd Shift (3pm11pm): $3.00
3rd Shift (11pm7am): $2.00
Weekends: additional $1.00 shift differential

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting transferring turning and assisting residents with mobility.
Basic knowledge of personal care practices infection control and safety procedures.
Knowledge of longterm care practices resident rights and basic nursing procedures.
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately.
Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition promptly and clearly.
Ability to document care activities clearly accurately and in compliance with facility standards.
Additional Considerations
Experience in long-term care or hospital setting.
