New Product Development Project Manager (Technical)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Project Manager to lead end-to-end product development initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and driving innovative product solutions that improve customer operations and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle proactively identifying and mitigating schedule technical market and resource risks
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans utilizing structured stage-gate methodologies combined with Agile practices
• Track and report key performance metrics including project velocity budget alignment and time-to-market
• Communicate project status milestone progress and risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders
• Facilitate daily stand-ups design reviews and major milestone meetings
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing sales test & evaluation global supply chain materials R&D and simulation
• Promote strong cross-functional collaboration and accountability
• Support short- and long-term capacity planning initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering plus 2 years of project management experience or
• 5 years of technical project management experience
• Demonstrated success in a project management or technical leadership role
• Ability to manage competing priorities in dynamic environments
• Strong decision-making problem-solving and team leadership skills

Preferred

• 10 years of project management experience ideally in industrial equipment manufacturing or controls
• CAPM PMP Agile or Scrum certification
• Experience with Lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies
• Background in New Product Development or similar technical environments
