Position Summary

The On-Call Banquet Server is responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service for hotel events meetings and special functions. This role plays a key part in delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience by ensuring events are executed with professionalism efficiency and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms according to event orders (BEOs) including tables linens glassware and equipment
Provide attentive and courteous food and beverage service during events
Ensure timely delivery of meals and beverages to guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before during and after events
Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate effectively with team members
Break down and reset rooms following events
Follow all health safety and sanitation standards
Support team members to ensure successful event execution

Qualifications

Previous banquet restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays
Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
Professional appearance and positive attitude

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 2550 pounds
Ability to bend reach and perform repetitive motions

Work Environment

Event-driven schedule based on business needs
Indoor banquet and meeting space with occasional outdoor events
Fast-paced guest-focused hospitality environment
