Position Summary

The On-Call Banquet Server is responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service for hotel events meetings and special functions. This role plays a key part in delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience by ensuring events are executed with professionalism efficiency and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event orders (BEOs) including tables linens glassware and equipment
  • Provide attentive and courteous food and beverage service during events
  • Ensure timely delivery of meals and beverages to guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before during and after events
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate effectively with team members
  • Break down and reset rooms following events
  • Follow all health safety and sanitation standards
  • Support team members to ensure successful event execution

Qualifications

  • Previous banquet restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 2550 pounds
  • Ability to bend reach and perform repetitive motions

Work Environment

  • Event-driven schedule based on business needs
  • Indoor banquet and meeting space with occasional outdoor events
  • Fast-paced guest-focused hospitality environment
