Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (Rehabilitation)
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic therapeutic and rehabilitative services for patients with speech language voice fluency swallowing and related disorders across all age groups. The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary clinical team to restore function improve communication and prevent disability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized measurable treatment plans aligned with patient and family goals
- Provide direct therapy services and adjust interventions based on patient progress
- Perform ongoing reassessments and modify treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate timely clinical documentation and communicate patient progress with care teams
- Participate in quality improvement infection control and program evaluation initiatives
- Support training and mentoring of new staff aides and clinical students
- Contribute to continuing education in-service training and professional development activities
- Attend required meetings and perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Massachusetts
- CPR certification (current)
- 12 years of experience in swallowing disorders preferred
- Strong clinical judgment communication and organizational skills
- Compliance with ASHA Code of Ethics
