What You Will Do:

The Compression Systems Module Center (CSMC) organization is hiring a Materials Plannerresponsible fordriving our materials and logistics transformation. The Materials Plannerwill beexecuting materials transformation initiatives anddriving strategic materials management architecture. It will include the releasing of material managing handling methods kittingand material movement following the fundamentals of line back logistics.

Success will be measured by developing strategies and executing goals with the business units/departmentsand objectives to meet capacity requirements inventory controls cost reduction objectives on time delivery and control tower measures. The individual will have the opportunity to work directly with CSMC administration materials operations and 3PL organizations as well as the internal manufacturing groups to redefine processes execute on business requirements and deliver to customer expectations.

• Provide leadership and direction with emphasis on change management.

• You should excel at forward thinking and ensure that CSMC is transforming to meet the customer demands of a difficult manufacturing environment.

• Executestrategies and oversee activities through multiple organizations

• Establish and execute standards and expectations for work effort and performance. Give constant feedback on performance to those standards

• Implement lean manufacturing measures to ensure value streams and shop operations are balanced at all times and/or to be able to identify areas of opportunity quickly

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and other organizations to ensure customer happiness.

• Communicate to peers and management the requirements that support processes to ensure smooth production flow.

• Establish system architecture designs that consider customer requirements resource availability and other priorities

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors Degree combined with 5 or more years of experience in an engineering manufacturing materials management/materials planning quality supply chain or related environment OR a Masters degree combined with 3 or more years of experience in an engineering manufacturing materials management/materials planning quality supply chain or related environment

• In absence of a degree 9 or more years of experience in an engineering manufacturing materials management/materials planning quality supply chain or related environment

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Aerospace industry experience

• Experience utilizing SAP operating system

• Advanced knowledge of materials management strategies Lean manufacturing system design and shop floor management

• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g. Lean manufacturing CORE QCPC)

• CPIM certification or willingness to earn

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
