About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Learning Developer to join our team. This role is central to the development and continuous improvement of learning resources ensuring they are engaging compliant and aligned with industry standards.
Working closely with academic teams subject matter experts and our LMS and Publishing team you will play a key role in shaping high-quality educational experiences for students.
This position will be based at ourOffshoreTeam (Remote Work and Day Shift).
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Development
- Execute ALGs new and existing product development plans
- Develop and maintain learning resources in line with ALGs standards
- Collaborate with academic staff subject matter experts and third-party content providers to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Implement Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS) into course design and development
- Develop comprehensive learning materials including:
- Lesson/session plans
- PowerPoint presentations
- Learner and trainer guides
- Study plans
- Assessments and marking guides
- Contextualise third-party resources to suit ALGs student cohort
- Participate in validation processes and implement required improvements
- Gather and incorporate feedback from students trainers and industry stakeholders
Continuous Improvement and Quality
- Apply continuous improvement processes to enhance learning resources
- Maintain a structured library of resources with version control
- Support and participate in internal and external audits
Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the VET Quality Framework and ESOS Framework
- Assist in audit preparation and rectification planning
Education Experience and Skills:
- Experience developing learning content within vocational education
- Understanding of RTO Standards and the National Code (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 SharePoint and AI tools (e.g. Copilot)
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse remote environment
