About the company

Remote World is partnering with a logistics-tech company improving last-mile delivery for UK retailers a UK-based employer to hire for this role. Their platform handles route optimisation and real-time tracking for hundreds of delivery drivers daily and theyre scaling fast ahead of a Series A.

The role

Youll own features across the full stack React on the frontend and on the backend. Youll take tickets from design through to deployment help maintain the API layer and collaborate daily with the product team to keep delivery timelines on track.

What youll do

• Build full-stack features across a React frontend and backend
• Design and implement database schemas in PostgreSQL
• Maintain and extend REST API endpoints
• Write unit and end-to-end tests
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups

What youll need

• Experience building with React and a framework (Express or similar)
• Comfortable writing SQL and working with relational databases
• Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP fundamentals
• You ship clean tested code
• Good async written communication and documentation habits

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with Docker or cloud deployment
