A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Specialist: Engineering to join its Process Design and Engineering division. This role is suited to a highly experienced professional who can lead innovation drive business process re-engineering and deliver sophisticated multi-layered solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Acting as a key partner to senior stakeholders this individual will play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise-wide strategies and translating them into impactful user-centred outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and optimisation of complex customer-centric business processes across the full business process management lifecycle.
- Develop and implement tactical strategies aligned to organisational objectives and enterprise strategy.
- Manage and deliver large-scale multi-functional projects ensuring quality efficiency and innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending best-fit solutions.
- Translate complex technical and legislative requirements into clear actionable insights.
- Engage and manage senior internal and external stakeholders building strong service-driven relationships.
- Oversee governance risk and compliance within the functional area.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and excellence.
- Manage budgets resources and financial controls to ensure cost-effective delivery.
Requirements:
- Honours / Postgraduate Diploma / Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering Business Analysis Informatics or related field (NQF 8) with 1012 years experience including 34 years at management level.
- OR a Bachelors Degree / Advanced Diploma in Industrial Engineering HCI Computer Science or related field (NQF 7) with 15 years experience including 34 years at management level.
- Proven experience in business process design CX/UX design and process re-engineering within complex environments.
- Strong leadership experience managing technical teams and delivering enterprise-level solutions.
- Expertise in business analysis tools journey mapping user research wireframing and prototyping.
- Excellent analytical thinking problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to simplify complexity and drive innovative data-driven decision-making.
- Strong understanding of governance risk compliance and legislative impact analysis.
