Join an 80-strong engineering team to scale Lendables leading consumer finance products. You will own problems end-to-end building and integrating APIs across a modern PHP 8 and Symfony stack. As an individual contributor youll drive technical decisions through design forums while supporting the companys high-growth expansion into the US market.

Location: London UK or Remote

What you will do:

• Design build and integrate new APIs across lending platforms while tuning existing services for massive scale.

• Participate in frequent collaborative design forums to influence technical architecture and solve complex engineering challenges.

• Implement robust automated testing using Behat and PHPUnit to ensure high-quality delivery within a Domain-Driven Design architecture.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 5 years of commercial PHP experience with deep expertise in PHP 8.0 and modern frameworks like Symfony.

• Demonstrates a strong grasp of Domain-Driven Design message-driven systems and microservices architecture in a product-led environment.

• Thrives in high-autonomy settings making pragmatic technical trade-offs while maintaining a high degree of ownership over business-critical systems.
