A Day in the Life:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Scope

• Execute technical specifications for hardware development
• Thoroughly review all vendor technical specs and apply clear and concise feedback.
• CAD support through Illustrator and Rhino renderings based on conceptual direction.
• Trouble shoot and provide technical guidance to hardware Design Team
• Meet with hardware and trim suppliers and present cards to Design when necessary
• Organized file saving processes for designs easy reference of materials like specs vendor technical designs and 3D files.
• Clearly organize developments within powerpoint for collaborative team communication
• Ensure all Hardware Milestones are top of mind and deadlines are met.

Cross-Functional & Key partnerships

• Assist in communication between PD and design for hardware
• Drive toward supporting Corporate Goals (ie: streamlining initiative)
• Partner very closely with the Design & Product Development teams
• Build relationships with local casters and local sample room for projects with sharp leadtimes

To Land This Role:

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS/BFA degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years experience in design and or Technical Design Engineering
• Experience with PLM (Centric) or other Product Management system
• Proficient in Rhino 3D Solid Works Z-Brush and Adobe Illustrator
• Strong taste level and design aesthetic
• Strong organizational interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Strong math and collaborative skills
• Able to work in a fluid fast-paced multi-channel environment
