A leading global product scaleup is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Python Data Pipelines Scale)to take ownership of production systems powering intelligent datadriven platforms used across multiple regions.

This is not a narrow specialist role. Youll architect optimise and scale backend services where performance reliability and smart design decisions truly matter. If you care about clean system design data pipelines at scale and algorithmic problemsolving this is where your work makes an impact.

Youll collaborate with highcaliber engineers influence longterm architecture and work at the intersection of software engineering and data science.

WHAT YOU WILL BE BUILDING

Backend systems and data pipelines processing largescale datasets
Algorithmic logic to extract transform and serve insights from complex data sources
Internal tooling to support production deployment and scaling efforts
Distributed systems designed for resilience scalability and maintainability
Endtoend solutions from concept through design implementation and deployment

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

8 years of professional software engineering experience (Python is key)
Proven track record of shipping production systems at scale
Experience designing and building systems from scratch
Strong system design and architecture skills
Ability to move fast make deliberate tradeoffs and justify decisions
Bonus: Frontend experience (React or similar) for internal tooling
Bonus: Exposure to computer vision or ML systems
