About The Role

As an LC-MS/MS Operator you will be responsible for performing batch injections monitoring instrument performance throughout the injection and communicating any issues to management. The LC-MS/MS Operator will work with scientists and analysts to insure extracted samples are run and injected efficiently on LC-MS/MS instrumentation to meet client deadlines. The operator will be responsible for the generation of high-quality data and following all SOPs and plans. This role will onboard during the day shift and then move to second shift after onboarding.

What Youll Do Here

• Communicate with scientists and analysts daily to prioritize instrumentation usage.

• Perform preliminary LC-MS/MS system tests.

• Start batches of various types of projects and for all LC-MS laboratory team members. Follow the batches performance to promptly identify possible problems (e.g.: retention time shifting sensitivity drops instrument communication problems).

• Monitor instrument performance throughout the injection to perform troubleshooting system interruption and batch reinjection procedures and intervenes when necessary.

• Complete supplementary information forms as needed.

• Perform specific instrument optimization on mass spectrometers.

• Assist pre-study meetings.

• Responsible for appropriate column care (e.g.: maintenance rinsing replacement).

• Create and maintain the daily injection schedule establishing project priorities with the team managers as needed.

• Conduct all work in compliance with applicable SOPs GLPs and observe all company guidelines and policies.

• RespectHealth and Safety standards in terms or personal protection laboratory maintenance and work procedures

• May perform extractions as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Immunology/Biology/Chemistry or other scientific related discipline

Preferred Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of laboratory experience

• Experience in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and CRO environment

• Experience with LC-MS instrumentation and software

• Ability to handle multiple projects prioritize work and meet deadlines.

• Experience with Shimadzu and SCIEX instrumentation

• Experience with Watson

What We Offer

The pay range estimated for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Please note that hourly rates/salaries vary within the range based on factors including but not limited to prior relevant experience skills education certification location as well as internal equity and market data.
