Marketing Coordinator

MMWEC is seeking a proactive Marketing Coordinator to drive our corporate communications and digital this role you will act as a key architect for theNextZerobrand and MMWECs external outreach. This is a unique opportunity to manage diverse marketing projectsfrom social media strategy and graphic design to high-level publication productionsupporting both our internal strategic objectives and our Member light departments across Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Digital Strategy:Serve as the primary lead for MMWEC and NextZero social media; developing high-impact content calendars and monitoring engagement.
• Graphic Design & Production:Coordinate the design and production of marketing collateral including brochures newsletters and the MMWEC Annual Report.
• Website Management:Manage content updates for public websites the employee intranet and private member portals using content management systems.
• Member Relations:Partner with Municipal Light Plant (MLP) managers to develop localized marketing plans customer communications and program-specific initiatives.
• Event Support:Represent MMWEC at community events and contribute to the planning and execution of the MMWEC Annual Conference.

Youre a Great Fit If You Have:

• Bachelors Degreein Communications Marketing Public Relations or a related field.
• Publications Expertise:Proven ability in writing editing and graphic design (portfolio/samples required).
• Digital Savvy:Professional experience managing social media platforms and using web CMS tools.
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Canva or similar design software and digital marketing platforms.
• Organizational Strength:Ability to work independently prioritize a dynamic schedule and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
