Our People and Culture area continues to grow and we are seeking to appoint two People Partners to support our broad diverse and multifaceted department. These roles sit at the heart of our partnering model working closely with the broader People Partnering team business leaders and SME areas to enable highperforming teams and sustainable workforce outcomes.
We are also looking to establish a talent pool for potential ongoing and temporary opportunities that may arise over the next 18 months supporting our focus on capability uplift and succession planning.
About the Role
As a People Partner you will provide practical trusted and technically sound HR advice to leaders and managers supporting them to manage their teams effectively and deliver change and business improvement outcomes across the department.
Reporting to the Manager People Partners you will work closely with your client groups to deliver operational HR support across the employee lifecycle. This includes providing advice on workforce matters interpreting industrial instruments policies and legislation and supporting managers to address peoplerelated risks and issues in a timely and consistent way.
You will:
- Provide responsive and pragmatic HR advice to leaders on a range of operational people matters
- Manage and support low-level case work ensuring matters are handled in line with policy legislation and best practice
- Prepare and contribute to reporting workforce data and insights to support workforce planning and decisionmaking
- Maintain accurate organisational structures and workforce information for your client groups
- Escalate complex sensitive or emerging issues to the Manager People Partners exercising sound judgement and discretion
- Collaborate across the People and Culture function to deliver integrated highquality HR services and continuous improvement initiatives
This role offers strong exposure to stakeholders varied client portfolios and a breadth of HR activity making it a great opportunity to further develop your HR partnering capability in a large complex organisation.
About You
You will have previous experience coordinating HR projects advising on compliance and best practices and providing case management support aligned with policies and regulations. Strong organisational skills to maintain accurate structures for client groups and a commitment to high ethical standards and sound judgment in escalating issues are essential.
Essential Requirements
- Knowledge of human resources legislation policies practices and strategies.
- Experience in supporting the implementation of client focused human resource strategies programs and services.
