About the role

Are you an experienced leader in social care who thrives on variety and making a real impact Were looking for a Peripatetic Service Manager to support and strengthen our services across the organisation.

This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same youll step into different services lead teams drive improvements and help deliver truly person-centred support that empowers people to live extraordinary lives.

What youll be doing

  • Providing short-term management support across a range of services
  • Leading motivating and developing teams to deliver high-quality care
  • Driving continuous improvement and positive team cultures
  • Ensuring services meet regulatory and compliance standards
  • Using data and insight to improve performance and outcomes
  • Managing staffing rotas and budgets effectively
  • Building strong relationships with families professionals and stakeholders

What were looking for

  • Experience in a management role within social care
  • Passion for person-centred support and inclusion
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Confidence working across different services and adapting quickly
  • Good organisational problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Comfortable using data and digital tools (e.g. Excel PowerBI)
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) with willingness to work towards Level 5

What else you need to know

  • Youll need flexibility to work across different locations and services
  • Some weekend night and on-call work will be required
  • Occasional hands-on support may be needed
