Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest and integrate data from internal systems and external agency partners
• Build and optimize complex queries and scripts to process large financial datasets
• Develop and manage centralized data stores ensuring data integrity quality and usability
• Implement APIs and automated processes to synchronize and update data across systems
• Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to support investigative analysis
• Manage data access controls and maintain access lists in accordance with security requirements
• Perform data validation cleansing and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and optimize performance of data workflows
• Support ongoing enhancements and continuous improvement of data integration and analytics capabilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Active DOD Top Secret Clearance.
• Strong experience in data engineering and analytics using SQL and Python
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and working with large datasets
• Proficiency in data integration using APIs and automated workflows
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI or similar)
• Strong understanding of data modeling data quality and data governance practices
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments with sensitive data
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support investigative or analytical use cases
• Bachelors degree or equivalent and up to eight (8) years of relevant experience.

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $93000.00 - $125000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
