We are currently accepting applications for aBanking Operations Advisorlocated in-office in SLC Henderson Houston Denver Phoenix or San Diego.

The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to:

  • Actas a subject matter expert on operational issues responsible to assist branch and other banking operations groups with a variety of operational issues.
  • Researchand resolveescalated operational issues questions projects and audit concerns.
  • Manage the coordination and status reporting of project-oriented work efforts.
  • Provideoperations guidance coaching and advice to branches including assistance with policies and procedures computer applications and general operations issues.
  • Ensureall actions comply with Bank and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop writeand communicatenew policies procedures forms and tools.
  • Update and revisepolicies and procedures forms and materials due to operations or system changes.
  • Research compile analyzeand reportoperational data including business unit production and productivity statistics.
  • Performroutine audits overseeand analyzedata to mitigate financial and/or operational administrative risks.
  • Researchand resolveinconsistencies in areas of responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a college degree in business finance communications or a related field and 2 years of experience in branch banking banking operations policies procedures regulations communications or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Working knowledge of banking operational processes procedures regulations policies and applications.
  • Ability to handle escalated operations concerns and make recommendations for process changes.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Solid business or technical writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of employees.
  • Solid analysis problem resolution decision making and follow-up skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with multiple departments and leaders.
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of computer software i.e. Microsoft word excel etc. and various banking systems.
