Position Description:

CGI is seeking a highpotential Senior Asset Accounting Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience in asset accounting processes for the federal government. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to lead workshops understand requirements design and present solutions configure the system and complete a full softwarelifecycle implementation of assetaccounting business process areas within the federal government. The primary focus is on design configuration and testing in financial and asset accounting for the public sector with experience and/or a desire to grow and mentor an Agile team focused on Asset Accounting within the SAP FI/CO modules. This role requires a strong understanding of federal financial accounting processes and solutions.

This position is located in one of CGI Federals offices in Fairfax VA; Lebanon VA; Lafayette LA; or Knoxville TN; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Facilitate the implementation of requirements design solutions and configure SAP Asset Accounting for the public sector to enhance the clients business functionality and overall performance while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Facilitate workshops to review business requirements and translate them into system requirements and assetaccounting functions.
Act as a liaison with the client for troubleshooting: investigate analyze and resolve software issues; map client business requirements processes and objectives; and develop necessary product modifications to meet client needs.
Perform design configuration and testing of the FI/CO modules in SAP S/4HANA to support teams dedicated to asset accounting.
Create Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and support the creation of Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and ToBe assetaccounting process designs for SAP FI/CO solutions.
Lead the successful implementation of assetaccounting processes by providing federal financial accounting expertise guidance presentations and instruction to clients.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Due to government contract and clearance requirements U.S. citizenship and successful completion of the CGI background check are required prior to beginning work. Candidates must also have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
A minimum of 6 years of business consulting experience in asset accounting and federal financial accounting.
Knowledge of financial management best practices including demos test scripts and functional/technical design documents.
Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork facilitation and negotiation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that builds rapport and is clear to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
Strong organizational skills.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering Computer Science or a related discipline.

Desired qualifications (nonessential):
Experience integrating with SAP application areas such as Finance (FI) Asset Accounting (AA) Project Systems (PS) and Funds Management (FM).
Knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules.
Experience with endtoend SAP implementations.
Certification in SAP S/4HANA.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89600.00 - $194000.00.
