Why This Role Matters

As a QA Analyst at Kinective youll play a key role in guaranteeing our products are reliable scalable and ready for real-world banking environments. Partnering closely with Product and Engineering youll help translate requirements into thoughtful test strategies identify issues early and validate complex integrations across systems.

This role goes beyond test executionyoull act as a quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle driving better processes improving automation and helping teams deliver with confidence. What youll own

Test Strategy & Planning

• Review business and product requirements to ensure clear testable outcomes
• Partner with QA Product and Engineering to define test strategies scenarios and coverage
• Identify risks early and contribute to improving QA processes and standards
• Perform functional UAT Integration End to End Regression Performance Load and Ad-hoc testing.

Test Execution & Automation

• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

Defect Management & Troubleshooting

• Identify document and track defects in JIRA with clear reproduction steps and impact
• Triage prioritize and own issues through resolution in collaboration with development teams
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and system issues escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work cross-functionally (and across time zones) to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Maintain QA documentation test cases and knowledge-sharing resources
• Continuously improve testing efficiency automation coverage and overall product quality

• High-quality releases with minimal defects reaching production
• Strong test coverage root cause analysis reporting and documentation
• Early detection of issues reducing downstream risk and rework
• Ongoing improvements to QA processes enabling faster more reliable releases
• Effective collaboration across teams making quality a shared responsibility

Necessary Qualifications & Competencies

Education & Work Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years as a Quality Assurance tester or similar role

Other Skills & Experience

• Experience API testing tools (Postman/Insomnia)
• Working knowledge of SQL APIs and system integrations
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS Active Directory and web servers
• Strong understanding of SDLC STLC and QA methodologies
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Clear documentation and communication skills
• Self-motivated adaptable and collaborative

Nice to Have

• Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement
• Azure/AWS certifications
• Some experience working with AIassistant and AI assisted testing tools to enhance QA activities
• Understanding ofMicroservices
• Experience with some scripting like Javascript or Powershell

Pay Benefits & Total Rewards

$50000 $60000

The salary range listed reflects the minimum and maximum for this role. Individual compensation is based on experience qualifications job-related skills location and internal equity and most offers are not made at the top of the range.
