EDUCATION:
- Full- time Student or High School Diploma
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
- Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness
- Very good physical condition and strength
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this capacity the fleet and ground maintenance shall be directly responsible to the Director of Facilities for the following specific duties:
- Maintain outer premises by watering plants and providing lawn care
- Keep all entrances walks and parking areas clean and free of trash and lawn clippings
- Utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests
- Help maintain fleet vehicles
- Monitor assigned supply inventory levels and reorder as necessary
- Deliver and receive mail and other packages to and from postal carriers; ensure mail and packages are delivered to appropriate personnel
- Report major damages and oversee repairs
- Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors and setting up the alarm
- Undertake lifting heavy items moving chairs moving tables etc.
- Ability to use a mower and trimmer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Posture: Prolonged standing; bending/stooping pushing/pulling reaching and twisting
Motion: Repetitive body motions
Lifting: Frequent lifting or carrying of less than 25 pounds; occasional lifting of more than 25lbs
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; infrequent statewide travel
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions maintain emotional control under stress
