Job Summary

Mobile Application Developer
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Austin Texas (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer to support the rapid development of a complex business-critical mobile application. This is a high-priority engagement requiring a strong contributor who can deliver high-quality scalable features on time proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and thrive in a collaborative solution-oriented environment.

The developer will work closely with team leads programmers analysts and project managers to analyze requirements design application functionality develop features and validate deliverables to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements. This role operates under general supervision with moderate latitude for independent judgment and initiative.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to analyze and translate complex business and technical requirements into effective mobile solutions
Strong background in application design including UI/UX layout and functional architecture
Proven experience delivering mobile applications within Agile development environments adhering to sprint timelines and deliverables
Hands-on expertise in unit testing and validating code quality throughout the development lifecycle
Solid track record of troubleshooting debugging and resolving application defects and performance issues
Deep experience building mobile applications using Xamarin with working knowledge MAUI
Proficiency with version control systems (e.g. GitLab) and modern development workflows
Experience working across both Agile and traditional (Waterfall) project environments
Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices ensuring applications meet required compliance guidelines
Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs and backend services
Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts including query development
Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams contributing to a productive and delivery-focused environment

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze interpret and translate business and technical requirements into functional mobile application features
Design application layout architecture and user experience
Develop and deliver mobile application components in alignment with Agile methodologies and timelines
Perform unit and developer testing to ensure code quality and functionality
Debug and resolve application defects and performance issues
Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and backend services
Ensure applications meet accessibility standards and established development guidelines
Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to meet project milestones
