Experienced Caregiver Part-time Days, Jefferson City

Client Location:Russellville MO

Make a real difference in someones ability to stay independent at home.
Were looking for a dependable proactive caregiver to support a client who thrives with structure routine and hands-on engagement.
This is not a sit and supervise role this is a lead-the-day role.

What Youll Do

• Prepare simple meals and ensure the client eats throughout the shift
• Lead light housekeeping and involve the client in tasks
• Guide daily routine through action (start tasks dont wait for direction)
• Provide transportation to errands or appointments as needed
• Support grooming and daily routines with step-by-step cueing
• Maintain a safe home environment and prevent fall risks
• Spend time outdoors (porch sitting plants light activity)

The client is someone who has spent her life staying active productive and hands-on. As a former homemaker and dairy farmer she takes pride in keeping a home running and feels most comfortable when shes engaged in familiar meaningful tasks like cleaning cooking crafting or tending to plants. Being useful and involved isnt just preference for her its part of her identity. The right caregiver wont just be there they will recreate the rhythm structure and sense of purpose that help the client feel like herself.

What Success Looks Like

• The client is engaged not sitting idle
• Meals are eaten not just prepared
• The home stays active and structured
• The caregiver leads confidently without needing direction
• The client feels comfortable and supported following along rather than being told what to do

Consistent Schedule

• Monday / Friday
• 10:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Opportunities for additional hours in the Jefferson City and Eldon area

Requirements

• Experience with dementia care
• Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Comfortable working independently
• Clear communicator (face-to-face communication important)
