About The Company
Our client is a well-established specialist in the fabrication and installation of complex steel structures including architectural staircases platforms and structural steel components for high-end commercial construction projects across Melbourne. They are known for delivering high-quality craftsmanship and precise installations on complex projects and are expanding their team to support continued project demand.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical and practical support to the team across the planning design and construction of architectural staircases and related structures.
Reporting directly to the Project Engineer some of your responsibilities will include:
Interpret drawings and technical reports for design and engineering requirements
Assist with design package submissions and buildability reviews
Develop BIM models and generate 3D Enscape renders
Create architectural and detailed drawings using Revit
Liaise with client architects and internal stakeholders
Maintain document control and Revit library systems
Generate finishes schedules and sample boards
Conduct site visits and inspections as required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry
Ability to work both in-office and attend site visits when required
Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
Strong experience using Revit and BIM modelling
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Bachelors degree in Architecture or similar
