RECOVERY SUPPORT WORKER

Your Next Role!Join us in a fixed term part time role (30.4 hours per week) in Bundaberg and make a meaningful difference every day. As a Recovery Support Worker in our Transition from Corrections program you will support people preparing for and returning from custody to rebuild their lives in the community.
You will work alongside individuals to build on their strengths resilience and capacity to thrive supporting them to regain confidence reconnect with their goals and navigate this important life transition. This includes helping people plan their next steps strengthen relationships and access supports such as housing health care AOD services education and social opportunities.
RFQs program provides support both prior to release and for up to 12 months after release depending on individual needs. Through collaborative and person centred practice you will empower people to enhance their wellbeing and shape a hopeful and self directed future while also contributing to a supportive team environment and maintaining quality and documentation standards.
You will have:- Diploma in a human service-related field and/or demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness
- Ability to work autonomously and professionally within RFQs service philosophy and values
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time own case load and KPIs including outcomes measures and safety planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients colleagues stakeholders and service providers
- A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity
