Production Operators

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Management & Productivity
Manages production activities at their level to ensure processes run smoothly maintain productivity and consistently attend their assigned duties to ensure volume targets are met.
Improvement
Actively participate in the implementation of process improvement projects such as EECIP Bright Ideas COQ and other cost savings initiatives in the various areas within the assigned Production plant.
Health and Safety
Actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of Good Housekeeping procedures investigation of near-misses and incidents and ensuring that these are reported and commitment dates for closure of the actions are followed.
4Documentation and Quality
Safeguards product quality through careful execution of the PSM and WI observation of process conditions and timely correction of any deviations. Ensures all data observations and actions are properly recorded to support quality traceability and compliance.
5Personnel Relations
Contribute to positive personnel relations by maintaining effective communication and cooperation with coworkers to support smooth and efficient plant operations.

Education & Experience

• At least high school graduate
• At least one (1) year experience as Production Operator in a chemical metallurgical or materials production environment

Working Conditions

Working condition are normal for a chemical laboratory environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 25 kg. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment and personnel protection equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses hearing protectors safety shoes/boots and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted to me worn.
