Health and Safety Manager
If youve been working in Health and Safety and have exposure to the food manufacturing industry then I may have just the job for you!
This Health and Safety Manager role will see you acting as a key member of the site leadership team (SLT) monitoring and maintaining the overall HSE performance across the site. My client is a leading food manufacturing goup. Whilst exposure to similar product categories would be advantageous you will be more than capable of undertaking this role if you have worked within food manufacturing in either your current or previous roles.
And if youre already a Health and Safety Manager with a strong grasp of health safety and risk then this is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark within a growing business.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing site HSE improvement plans
- Measuring site performance against the HSE balance-scorecard (BMI)
- Monitoring HSE risks and hazards across the site
- Advising on how to minimise or ultimately eliminate HSE risk and hazards
- Ensuring the site is legally compliant with all HSE legislation
- Ensuring robust training plans are in place
- Manage monitor and improve HSE performance
- Managing site verification and monitoring programme (VAMP / 50 Point Check)
This role is full-time on-site in Staffordshire and the salary on offer is 50000 - 60000
