GE Vernova is seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Capex Engineer to support the planning management and delivery of capital projects across three manufacturing sites located in Parsippany NJ; Allentown PA; and Százhalombatta Hungary. This role is based in Parsippany NJ and is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of capital expenditures ranging from $25000 to $ including primarily capital equipment projects as well as selected infrastructure and facilities projects.

The ideal candidate will bring strong project management experience including budgeting scheduling cost tracking and project execution and will be comfortable working cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget. This position requires close collaboration with Engineering Maintenance Production Quality Accounting Finance vendors and contractors to support both standard and ramp capital budgets and drive successful project implementation across sites.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage capital projects from initiation through completion across multiple sites ensuring alignment with business priorities technical requirements and financial objectives.
  • Lead project planning activities including scope definition budget development scheduling resource coordination and execution tracking.
  • Oversee capital project budgets for facilities inParsippany NJ; Allentown PA; and Százhalombatta Hungary.
  • Support and manage a range of projects valued between$25000 and $.
  • Execute projects involving primarilycapital equipment with additional responsibility forinfrastructure and facilities-related improvements.
  • Track project costs schedules milestones risks and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination amongEngineering Maintenance Production Quality Accounting and Financeteams.
  • Work effectively across organizational silos to remove barriers align stakeholders and drive project execution.
  • Coordinate and manage externalvendors and contractors including scope review performance monitoring and execution support.
  • Ensure capital projects comply with applicable safety quality engineering and financial processes and standards.
  • Provide regular project status updates budget reporting and execution summaries to site and business leadership.
  • Support capital planning processes for bothstandardandrampbudget initiatives.
  • Travel approximately25% depending on project demands and business needs to support project execution across sites.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelors degree inEngineeringProject Management or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experiencemanagingcapital projectsin industrial manufacturing or plant environments.
  • 5 years of experienceinproject management includingbudgeting scheduling tracking and execution.
  • 5 years of experiencemanaging capital project portfolios or individual projects ranging from$25000 to $.
  • Experience withcapital equipment installation and implementation.
  • Experience withfinancial management of capital projects including tracking capital spend forecasting and budget performance.
  • Experience working withvendors contractors and internal business partnersto successfully deliver projects.

Eligibility Requirements

  • This is a 100% onsite position.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately25%as needed.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $110100.00 and $183300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
