About the Role

American Stone is hiring a full-time Inbound Salesperson to support customers process orders and drive sales through incoming inquiries and in-store interactions.

Compensation: Base Commission (high performers can earn up to $60K in their first year)

This role focuses on building relationships with contractors landscapers and retail customers by providing product guidance processing orders and identifying upsell opportunities.

This is a primarily on-site position based at one of our locations. Candidates must be local and available to work during business hours including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers and respond to inbound calls and inquiries
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors landscapers and retail customers
• Process orders accurately and efficiently
• Recommend products and identify upsell opportunities
• Coordinate with yard and operations teams to fulfill orders
• Maintain organized records and customer information
• Follow up with customers to support repeat business
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Basic computer skills (email Google Docs Microsoft Word)
• Ability to work on-site and occasionally assist with light physical tasks

Preferred:

• Sales experience (inside or retail sales)
• Experience in construction landscaping or related industries
• Spanish is a plus

Business hours (Monday to Saturday; schedule may vary based on business needs)
