Job Summary

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORREGINA CAMPUSFULL-TIME ONE YEAR TERM Pamināwasowin Child Care Centre is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Educator to join our team of professionals in delivering a high-quality early learning program. Qualifications: demonstrated knowledge and understanding of age-appropriate development of children demonstrated ability to work well within a team and independently communicate effectively collaborate and share ideas. Preference will be given to applicants with an ECE certificate or diploma or equivalency of ECE Level I II or First Nations University of Canada continues to uphold its mission of enhancing the quality of life and to preserve protect and interpret the history language culture and artistic heritage of First Nations people. FNUniv is a unique place of learning specializing in Indigenous knowledge and providing post-secondary education for Indigenous and non-Indigenous students alike within a culturally supportive environment. First Nations University is a federated college of the University of Regina and its academic programs are accredited through that institution. FNUnivs values include wisdom respect humility sharing harmony beauty strength and Early Childhood Educator is responsible to provide quality caring and supportive childcare programming to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age and ensuring all regulatory standards are met. The Child Care facility is licensed for up to 90 children the Early Childhood Educator reports to the Director of the Child Care responsibilities for this position include:1) Contribute to the ongoing operations of the Centre and assigned duties.2) Ensure the childs environment is healthy and safe by following the Child Centres procedures3) Guidance of childrens behavior that encourages positive self-concept and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.4) Provide positive communication with parents and share progress with Requirements:Successful candidates must possess a diploma in Early Childhood Education or Saskatchewan equivalency of ECE Level I II or III. Current First Aide/CPR certification and Safe Food Handlers course is a requirement. Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Individuals will also possess excellent interpersonal skills with parents colleagues and community stakeholders along with a mature and responsible attitude with a willingness to work flexible Range: $17.79 - $24.72 (plus Govt.
