Job Summary
The Hardware Test Engineer leads the comprehensive evaluation of system constraints software characteristics (as they interface with hardware) and performance capabilities across diverse technological environments.
Key responsibilities include:
Architects designs and leads the implementation of advanced hardware T&E solutions for C2ISR systems across avionics airborne shipboard and land-based platforms. Drives the strategic selection and evaluation of appropriate hardware test equipment methodologies and data architectures for comprehensive system performance assessment. Leads the development and deployment of hardware test strategies for architectural analysis design validation and rigorous operational requirements verification. Functions as a technical expert in integrating hardware T&E into the full system development lifecycle ensuring seamless validation and enhanced decision-making for mission readiness. Evaluates the overall effectiveness and impact of hardware T&E solutions on system validation and performance optimization identifying trends and recommending major changes to T&E strategies. Establishes performance metrics and continuously optimizes hardware T&E processes to maximize their accuracy reliability and contribution to continuous technological optimization and mission readiness. Provides expert guidance to system engineers developers and other stakeholders on hardware T&E best practices complex data interpretation and effective communication of test results. Mentors and supervises journeyman and junior Hardware Test Engineers fostering skill development and ensuring consistency in solution quality and adherence to best practices. Recommends major changes to system T&E strategies and methodologies based on hardware testing insights and capabilities particularly for direct support to non-deadly components weapons systems.
Requirements
- Previous experience as Hardware Test Engineer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level.
- Minimum experience of:
- 8 years of experience with a BS/BA or 12 years without a degree or 10 years with an AS/AA or 6 years with a MS/MA or 3 years with a PhD.
- Ability to obtain DoD 8140 compliance for WRC: 451 Systems Administrator Intermediate.
- DoDapproved IA baseline certification for ADPIII/ITIII based on IAT level plus a CE/Operating System (OS) certification within six months of assignment.
Clearance
- An active TS/SCI is required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience.
