Position Overview
The Learning Experience Dedham is seeking an EEC-certified Afternoon Preschool Teacher to support our classrooms during the late-day program. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who enjoys guiding preschool-aged children through structured transitions enrichment activities and end-of-day routines.
Responsibilities
Support preschool classrooms during afternoon learning and transitions
Implement engaging activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
Help maintain a safe organized and nurturing classroom environment
Guide children through centers dismissal routines and end-of-day activities
Communicate positively with families during pickup
Partner with teaching teams to maintain classroom consistency and quality
Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing standards
Qualifications
Massachusetts EEC certification (Infant/Toddler and Preschool qualified) required
Experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred
Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
Reliable and comfortable supporting afternoon classroom transitions
