Job Summary
The Staff Nurse II is responsible for assessing developing implementing evaluating and documenting nursing care for patients in an assigned area. Makes nursing decisions based on critical thinking and knowledge of best practices. Supervises and delegates patient care through auxiliary personnel as appropriate. The annual salary for this position ranges from $63000 to $64000. The final offer will be based on the candidates experience qualifications and overall fit for the role.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assess patients and participate in evaluation and care with providers . Assist providers with procedures. (I&Ds sutures etc.). Carries out physicians and nurse practitioners orders (Following up with patients EKGs orthopedic needs collecting and ordering lab specimens referrals). Triage walk-in or call-in patients to determine immediate needs. Assess patients understanding of instructions and provide instruction and education as needed. Provide emergency care as needed. Cross trained in other nursing areas: Immunization Clinic and Gynecological Clinic Perform other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Registered Nurse with Current Texas Nursing License. One (1) year of experience as a practicing nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in nursing ( BSN ). Familiarity with Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care ( AAAHC ) requirements.

Monday-Friday; 8:30am 5:30pm
