• The Tech Lead acts as Jumbos principal engineering authority across hybrid networking cloud connectivity and onprem a handson expert and strategic influencer the Tech Lead follows the technical direction mitigates risks simplifies complexity and ensures the network and infrastructure landscape evolves in line with Jumbos architectural standards and business goals.

• Jumbos technology landscape spans onprem environments HyperCloud and hybrid connectivity across missioncritical logistics and retail systems. This role ensures a secure reliable and scalable foundation for all Jumbo business operations by shaping the network architecture driving InfrastructureasCode adoption enforcing strong governance and guiding both internal teams and external partners.

• Platform Engineering team focusing on hybrid networking cloud connectivity and onprem infrastructure.

• Works very close with the Architect product owner and cloud engineers. Act as the technical counterpart to network vendors and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners.

This role ensures a secure reliable and scalable foundation for all Jumbo business operations by shaping the network architecture driving InfrastructureasCode adoption enforcing strong governance and guiding both internal teams and external partners.

As a handson expert and strategic influencer the Tech Lead works very close with the Competence Architect follows the technical direction mitigates risks simplifies complexity and ensures the network and infrastructure landscape evolves in line with Jumbos architectural standards and business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the endtoend landscape for Jumbos network hybrid cloud connectivity routing and firewalls.
• Drive modernization: IaC for network components SDWAN improvements routing strategy and cloudnative firewall evaluation.
• Establish and enforce standards & governance including foureyes change control versioning documentation and architectural guidelines.
• Act as the technical counterpart to network vendors and collaborate with product owner and architect ensuring quality transparency and adherence to Jumbos policies.
• Proactively identify & mitigate risks e.g. DTAP separation asymmetric routing etc.
• Oversee lifecycle management and ensure platform stability performance and resilience.
• Collaborate crossfunctionally with Cloud Security Workplace Application teams to ensure consistency and alignment.
• Provide handson expertise in troubleshooting architectural decisionmaking and mentoring engineers.

• Deep expertise in network engineering hybrid cloud networking routing protocols and firewalls.

• Strong experience with InfrastructureasCode (Terraform preferred) Git workflows and automated deployment pipelines.

• Ability to simplify complex technical topics and influence stakeholders including external vendors.

• Proven capability to challenge partners enforce standards and manage crossorganizational dependencies.

• Strong architectural thinking: able to define target states transition paths and governance frameworks.

• Handson mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex network scenarios.

• Proactive ownershipdriven with a preference for preventing issues rather than fixing them.

• Experience working in highavailability environments with missioncritical infrastructure.

• A gross salary between 6.000 7.700 per month (based on 40 hours).
• An annual bonus of max 10% of your annual salary based on organizational goals.
