Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial leader to join Axtria as the Commercial Solutions Global CoE Leader. This role exists to hardwire deep pharma business context into Data & AI solutions. The leader will be responsible for building and leading a lean team of deep domain experts in pharma commercial space including Medical Affairs Omnichannel & Customer Engagement and Patient Services & Hub Operations.

This is a true innovate prove transfer and win role. The CoE Leader will be accountable for creating reusable production-grade AI accelerators and agentic solutions grounded in real pharma commercial workflows converting innovation into funded client engagements with quantified ROI co-selling with account teams while simultaneously transferring knowledge so they can independently position and defend solutions fueling competitive displacement wins and transforming the talent base for the agentic AI era. The role enhances Axtrias AI & Data portfolio by embedding deep commercial domain expertise into every solution we build.

The critical area of focus for this role is to have deep understanding of pharma commercial operations and extensive experience in commercial technologies data ecosystems and decision-support capabilities underpinning medical affairs omnichannel engagement and patient services activities. It is important that this person be senior and well-connected in the industry with a significant network of client and partner relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale commercial solution initiatives driving innovation at the intersection of domain and AI and fostering strong partnerships with key stakeholders.

Axtria is building the next generation of AIpowered commercial solutions for life sciences and we are creating a Commercial Solutions Center of Excellenceto lead that transformation.

Just as Axtria has a dedicated Clinical Solutions CoE we are now investing in a Commercial CoEfocused on Medical Affairs Omnichannel & Customer Engagement and Patient Services / Hubs. This role will define how deep pharma commercial expertise is embedded into AI and Data solutions at scale.

What Youll Do

Build & Innovate

  • Lead endtoend innovation for commercial solutions across Medical Affairs Omnichannel and Patient Services
  • Create reusable productiongrade AI accelerators and agentic solutionsembedded in pharma commercial workflows
  • Move solutions quickly from concept pilot clientvalidated offerings

Monetize & Win

  • Convert innovations into funded multiquarter client engagements
  • Cosell with Client Partners as a senior domain advisorto pharma commercial leaders
  • Produce competitive battle cards win strategies and displacement playbooks
  • Generate netnew pipelineattributable to CoEoriginated solutions

Scale & Enable

  • Transfer knowledge so account teams can independently position demo and defendsolutions
  • Build GTM playbooks POVs case studies and thought leadership used actively in pursuits
  • Ensure solutions are repeatable scalable and priced for growth

Lead the CoE

  • Build and mentor a team of Pharma Domain & Business Solution Leaders
  • Drive measurable upskilling in AI / GenAI / agentic AI frameworks
  • Create a resultsdriven culture focused on impact over activity

Stay HandsOn

  • Remain personally engaged in client advisory solution architecture and delivery leadership
  • Maintain personal billability while shaping CoE strategy

Who You Are

You are a hybrid leadernot a pure consultant and not a pure pharma lifer.

You likely:

  • Spent meaningful years inside pharma commercial operations(Medical Affairs Omnichannel Patient Services Commercial Ops)
  • Then moved to a consulting analytics or platform firmwhere you built and scaled solutions
  • Have been trusted by pharma leaders as a peer not a vendor
  • Know how to move from insight solution revenue

What You Bring

  • 20 yearsin life sciences with deep commercial expertise in at least twoof:
    • Medical Affairs
    • Omnichannel & Customer Engagement
    • Patient Services / Hub Operations
    • Commercial Operations / Sales Effectiveness
  • Strong understanding of pharma commercial data ecosystems(claims Rx CRM digital field medical patient)
  • Proven experience building solution practices CoEs or repeatable accelerators
  • Demonstrated GTM and coselling capability
  • Fluency in AI GenAI and agentic AI concepts(no coding required)
  • Ability to translate complex AI into clear executive narratives
  • A strong pharma network that accelerates credibility and access
  • High integrity strong judgment and comfort operating in ambiguity

The salary range for this position is $204250 to $312000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education experience skills and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicants geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Berkeley Heights New Jersey. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
