OVERVIEW

As the Associate Mens Merchandiser you will create and drive assortment strategies. By being the expert on customer needs and marketplace capacity you will be the lead of building consumer focused assortments. You will select products that meet financial plans and deliver business results. The Associate Mens Merchandiser will drive cross-functional alignment with Design Buying Planning Product Development and Production to ensure the right product is delivered on- time and meets cost targets. This position will serve as the strategic business driver for the product ensuring product and presentation enhances the brand while achieving sales targets and maintains brand integrity for both Stores and Web.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop seasonal strategies that meet or exceed sales goals margin targets and align to the overarching company strategy
• Create and communicate seasonal line plans to guide design product development and production in support of company objectives
• Merchandise and present seasonal product assortments that meet sales and margin targets
• Present seasonal product assortment to upper management wholesale and global teams
• Create assortment strategies with an understanding of fabric and materials as well as lead times
• Track business performance; Identify risks and opportunities for reacting to current business
• Create and communicate pricing strategies that align with brand positioning
• Communicate to appropriate cross-functional partners
• Maintain and demonstrate expert knowledge of customer base through strong field relationships frequently visiting stores and constantly reaching out for direct consumer feedback
• Maintain and demonstrate constant understanding of the competitive environment
• Participate in key business meeting throughout the product creation process

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 3-4 years experience
• Entrepreneur spirit
• Strong relationships and experience with product development design production and buying teams
• Deep knowledge of current mens market
• Natural leader and problem solver with a growth mindset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Excell and Microsoft Office skill required

The base salary range for this position is $90000-$100000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. As such on occasion and when applicable there is the possibility that the final agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the companys total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses long term incentives a PTO policy and many other progressive benefits.
