We are a converting operation that produces specialty fibers used in the production of diapers and other absorbent personal care the RoleThe Storeroom MRP Coordinator role that provides material ordering/procurement support for all materials needed for production and maintenance operations at the Columbus Mill. Duties include but are not limited to:Procurement of storeroom inventory materials through the SAP Material Requirements Planning maintain and update purchase orders to vendors for all storeroom materialsSAP Materials duties include but are not limited to:Setting up new inventory itemsConverting temporary numbers to GCF standard material numbersProvide historical inventory data to support material optimization directly with vendors to confirm orders are received and updated vendor blocked payments are released and paid timely through PO management. Assists with maintaining Repairable Assets duties include but are not limited to:Work with Management Planners and Process Owners to determine where equipment should be shipped for status report of all repairable assets. The report should include the item # its current physical location its status (pending approval waiting on core waiting to be shipped currently being repaired etc.)Prepare for and arrange for the shipment of repairable assets as neededReconcile P-card activity if the Storeroom Supervisor in inventory management and sometimes covers in their safety in others and leads by and meets internal and external customer maintains and uses reliable methods for all processes and their other team members in the mill as necessary to minimize downtime and maintain and develops team cross-functional process to work as all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the EnvironmentMust be able to wear all required safety equipment including eye protection hearing protection and fall protection in elevated positionsHeat in excess of 100 F or Cold below 0 FOccasionally ascends/descends stairs : Periodically tools and assignments may require kneeling crouching and twisting while handling Stores inventory to verify material on hand prior to placing You: Knowledge Skills and Abilities Ability to work in a HWPS team knowledge of inventory control methods and -oriented with excellent problem-solving understanding of reconciliation record of Safe Work knowledge of computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office and SAP or similar system).Excellent oral and written communication knowledge of manufacturing equipment and accounting knowledge for inventory and P-Card to three years procurement purchasing or storeroom in a team-based customer and quality focused of and leadership in mill safety computer skills including proficiency with Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF):Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products.
