Job Summary
| Job Purpose | We are looking for someone who combines superb technical analytical and communication capabilities with proven ability to get the right things done. Someone who loves sophisticated machine learning methodology and mathematical precision but at the same time enjoys building real systems (@ production scale). He/She should be able to focus heavily on cross functional communication to ensure key decisions and status surrounding projects are clear to all. We analyze structure/ unstructured and semi structure data. He/She must have a strong sense of execution/delivery focus. |
| Duties and Responsibilities | This role is for machine learning and data oriented product development (horizontal capability builds) but it will also require strong program management and execution skills. Technical Interactions with vendor or partners in technical capacity for scope/ approach & deliverables. Develops proof of concept to prove or disprove validity of concept. Work with cross functional team to integrate these models into larger solutions. Works collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment; Establishes and maintains professional networks with subject matter experts. Interact with the business to understand use-case solution and present the outcomes Strong empowerment and self-drive is a must. |

| Required Qualifications and Experience | a)Qualifications MTech/BE/ BTech/MSc in CS or Math Operation research Statistics Econometrics or in any quantitative field b)Work Experience 1.5 years of industrial experience in analytics predictive modeling Machine learning NLP predictive software development in using R SAS or any other statistical software with Python/Perl (or similar scripting language) Scala and Java in mentoring junior team members and guiding (strong hands-on nature) them on machine learning NLP and data modeling applications communication and data presentation skills with Relational Databases Data warehouses Structured & Unstructured (NOSQL) data forms. knowledge in Advanced & latest technologies / capabilities (such as deep learning AI ML techniques) and overall AI system design with solution architecture. hands-on nature (ability to self code is a must). capability to work on server class (cloud machines) for data science capability Strong team player with exceptional program management. Self driven & high ownership levels is a key. Nice to Have: publications or presentation in recognized Machine Learning and Data Mining journals/conferences is a value add. ahead of curve in latest ML/AI related technologies and capabilities that are relevant to BFL/ Business |
