Job Summary
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a vital role focused on maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our facilities. This position is crucial for ensuring a welcoming environment for both staff and customers at Jewson Chesterfield
The position is for 5 hrs per week. Tuesdays & Thursdays 2.5hrs per day. Starting times are flexible but preferably mornings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks in various areas of the building including offices restrooms and communal spaces.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a cleaning or maintenance role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
