Category Sourcing Manager Vice President

Join Global Supplier Services in a high-impact category role focused on Market Data and Broker Content and Exchange services. Youll collaborate with senior stakeholders shape sourcing strategies and deliver commercial outcomes by leveraging firmwide scalehelping ensure employees can access contracted services efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining strong governance and compliance.

As a Category Sourcing Manager -Vice President within Global Supplier Services (GSS) you will lead and support sourcing and contracting activities for third-party supplier spend across Market Data and related services (including trading platforms exchanges pricing services research subscriptions and broker services). You will build strong relationships with internal stakeholdersprimarily within the Commercial & Investment Bank and Asset & Wealth Managementconduct supplier due diligence run competitive sourcing processes negotiate commercial terms and partner with Legal Risk Third Party Oversight and Finance to execute agreements in line with policy and procedural requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end sourcing and contractingfor third-party supplier spend across Market Data and related services within a line of business.
• Build stakeholder partnershipswith senior executives and teams (including Market Data Services and Global Reference Data) to understand business drivers and third-party requirements.
• Support vendor rationalizationefforts across the Commercial & Investment Bank and Asset & Wealth Management.
• Drive channel complianceacross the vendor landscape and help ensure contracted goods/services can be obtained efficiently and cost-effectively on a global basis
• Develop and execute sourcing strategiesfor significant transactions aligned to Global Supplier Services (GSS) strategic priorities.
• Conduct supplier due diligenceand partner with clients and stakeholders to define sourcing requirements.
• Assess supplier offeringsand develop/present sourcing options that meet JPMorgan Chase business requirements.
• Lead negotiations and contract developmentthrough approval and execution in partnership with internal control functions.
• Maintain adherence to policy and procedural guidelinesfor sourcing and contracting activities while partnering with regional teamson local regional and global sourcing initiatives as needed.
• Support SLA complianceby collaborating with internal partners and client teams to ensure selected vendors meet service expectations.
• Perform cost and spend analysisto develop savings initiatives and identify cost reduction opportunities.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• Minimum 5 years of Market Data Services experience.

• Extensive Sourcing and process knowledge.

• Strong written and verbal communication interpersonal skills and judgment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under deadlines

• Ability to work effectively across regions and with all levels of management.

• Client management and relationship management skills.

• Strong financial analysis skillsand experience conducting cost/spend analysis.

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office especially advanced Excel and Ariba procurement tool.

• Understanding of legal contracts and SLAsand the ability to support contract development and compliance.
• Experience working with third-party providersin a Financial Services context.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

• Category/spend management experience(managing a market facing category)
• Project management experiencedelivering complex initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of ARIBA and contract drafting
• Proven track record of broad strategic thinkingin a Sourcing or Vendor Management role.
